Before you go
Check
- Open Air4Thai for a current result instead of relying on a monthly average.
- Read the displayed station timestamp, pollutant and health category together.
- Do not present this page as a current Pattaya AQI or health verdict.
Detailed explanation4 short sections
What the historical data establishes
The Pattaya City resource contains monthly PM2.5 fields and non-zero exceedance-day entries in parts of 2024 and 2025. That supports “can be affected,” not a permanent label that the city is always polluted.
Monthly history cannot describe today, every neighborhood or indoor exposure. The dataset field is reported without inventing a threshold interpretation beyond its published label.
Check today before acting
Use Air4Thai and read the station timestamp, pollutant and health category. A stale screenshot or a monthly average should not be presented as the current Pattaya level.
This page does not interpret an individual's health risk. Follow the official current health-category guidance and keep individual medical conclusions outside this generalized travel answer.
Do not turn exceedance history into today's AQI
Non-zero exceedance-day entries establish that elevated PM2.5 occurred in some recorded months. They do not supply a current reading, describe every location in Pattaya or support a permanent air-quality label.
The historical fields and the live service therefore have separate roles. Use the city dataset for dated context and Air4Thai for the current conditions and health category shown by the official channel.
Preserve the live reading's context
A current check should remain attached to its official channel and displayed context. This page intentionally publishes no AQI number, PM2.5 reading or current health verdict that could go stale after publication.
If the official category or guidance changes, use the current Air4Thai information. Historical monthly averages and screenshots are not substitutes for that live check.
