What to do

  1. 1

    Check Track & Trace

Use the official Thailand Post tool with the item number and note the latest displayed event without treating it as a final loss decision.

  2. 2

    Assemble the case fields

Keep the receipt, item number, service, posting date, origin and sender/recipient details ready for the investigation form.

  3. 3

    Contact Thailand Post

Use an official form, email, telephone, Facebook inbox or post-office route and retain the resulting reference.

Start with the official tracking tool

Enter the item number in Thailand Post's Track & Trace service rather than a copied tracking site. Compare the displayed events with the posting receipt and the exact product that was purchased. A missing or unchanged scan does not by itself prove the item is lost.

Save the result or note the latest event and time before contacting support. Do not publish the complete tracking number or recipient address. The tracking surface is application-rendered, and this research did not submit any real item number or test what a specific status means.

Prepare the inquiry record

Thailand Post's official investigation form asks for the 13-character item number, service type, posting date, origin, sender and recipient names and addresses, contact details, subject and additional information. Keep the original receipt because it connects the number, product and posting event.

State the observed problem without converting it into an unsupported conclusion. For example, record the last scan and expected destination rather than declaring theft or loss. The checked form does not publish one universal waiting period or deadline for every domestic and international service.

Choose an official inquiry channel

Thailand Post lists the online complaint form, `postalcare@thailandpost.co.th`, telephone 1545 or `0 2831 3600`, its official Facebook inbox and post offices. Use one channel that can safely receive the required evidence and keep any reference number or written response.

Verify the email, account and form through Thailand Post before sending identity documents. A social-media reply from an unverified profile is not the official Facebook channel merely because it uses the postal logo. Avoid placing addresses, telephone numbers or identity records in a public post.

Keep investigation and compensation separate

An inquiry asks Thailand Post to investigate or respond; it does not prove the item is lost and does not promise delivery, recovery or compensation. Product-specific terms determine who may claim, what evidence and deadline apply, and whether any amount is payable.

If the parcel was sent by a private courier or an airline rather than Thailand Post, these channels do not establish responsibility. If a counter-collection item has arrived, use the selected branch's collection conditions instead of opening a loss inquiry solely because residential delivery did not occur.
